FAQ’s
Does Onegaishi Shop accept returns?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the products we sell, we do not accept returns. Angelic Pretty, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, and pretty much all Japanese boutiques operate on an “all sales final” policy. Given that we source items from these shops, we ask our customers to respect our no returns policy so that we may continue to make Japanese fashion more accessible in the USA.
Why are the measurements different from Lolibrary?
At the shop we measure each item individually. This is because lolibrary measurements are often way off, or do not include the stretch of shirring. Even if they were always accurate, when garments are constructed there is an acceptable margin of error that can go as high as 3 cm! Since most of our items are second hand, they also could have shrunk or stretched over time. We pride ourselves on taking the guess work out of purchasing dresses, and take the time to accurately measure every item to the best of our ability.
When should my order arrive?
If you are in the USA, your order should arrive within 3-5 business days. If it does not arrive by then, please contact us. Sometimes packages can be delayed but the sooner we hear about it, the sooner we can resolve the matter.
Why is _____ item so expensive?
At Onegaishi Shop all of our items are priced based on a set formula that is based on the cost of aquisition. While we are able to source broadly and negotiate for items that weren't initially for sale, certain items are expensive no matter where we source them. We are very proud of our pricing, and do our best to price even highly desirable brand pieces under $300, as well as finding quality budget options below $50.
I saw an item I liked on your instagram. Can I reserve it?
Onegaishi Shop does not accept reservations, as it would be extremely difficult to track. The items will be listed on our website at the time stated in the Instagram post. All our listings are first come, first serve.
Do you sell replicas/counterfeit items?
Absolutely not. Under no circumstances will any of the items on our site be replicas of other existing prints, or “design replicas” of any reasonably similar variety. We believe it is our responsibility as the seller to do the due diligence to make sure that every item on our site is genuine. As a small business with artists at the helm, we believe it is incredibly important to protect an artist’s right to be compensated for their work.
Every dress we sell has a portfolio of images, including pictures of the original garment tag. These pictures will NOT be posted publicly under any circumstances, as replica makers can use images of the tag to make their products look more genuine. These images allow us to prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that every dress we sell is authentic. We will not sell any dress that has had the internal tag removed or torn out.
